RJ Mahvash, who has been making waves due to her rumored relationship with Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal, has now addressed online trolls head-on. While both have clarified they are just friends, their recent public appearances and social media interactions have fueled speculation.
Amid the growing chatter, some social media users accused Mahvash of using her association with Chahal to boost her career. On July 20, Mahvash broke her silence with a powerful Instagram video, addressing the allegations directly. She showcased her achievements as a radio jockey, actress, and author, shutting down claims that Chahal “made her career.”
Responding to a viral comment stating, “Yuzi bhai ne iska career bana diya”, Mahvash presented a montage highlighting her career journey since 2019 — including her film debut, her role opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui in Section 108, and her production venture in 2023. She also displayed her longstanding presence in the cricket world by sharing past interactions with legends like MS Dhoni, Chris Gayle, Shane Watson, and Harbhajan Singh, proving her involvement in sports media well before her link with Chahal.
Addressing another troll who claimed she lacked cricket knowledge, Mahvash confidently replied that she has “been on the pitch since 2019.” She also dismissed claims that she networked with Bollywood stars through Chahal by sharing clips with Vicky Kaushal, Rashmika Mandanna, Aamir Khan, Kartik Aaryan, and others — proving her independent links in the film industry.
She further emphasized her credibility as a published author of two books and highlighted the awards she’s received over the years for her versatile career in media and entertainment.
Ending the video with a strong message about her bond with Chahal, she declared, “Main poori duniya mein chilla chilla ke bolungi ki main jise janti hoon woh super talented hai,” reaffirming her respect for the cricketer while asserting her own hard-earned success.
The video has since gone viral, earning support from fans who praised her for standing up against false narratives and defending her identity.
